Terms of Service – Shuttle service
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Shuttle Service provided by Pandox holidaystraat to and from the hotel Holiday Inn Brussels Airport (hereafter “HIBA”), located at Holidaystraat 7, 1831, Brussels.
1. The shuttle service
HIBA offers a Shuttle Service from HIBA to Brussels Airport Company and from Brussels Airport Company to HIBA Inn (“the Shuttle Service”). The Shuttle Service is carried out by an external service supplier (hereafter “Service Supplier”). These terms and conditions do not apply to any other shuttle or taxi service from and to the hotel.
By using the Shuttle Service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Acceptable use
When using the Shuttle Service, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and you warrant that you will not use our services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes. By way of example, you agree to respect the prohibition by Belgian law to smoke inside vehicles.
You will treat drivers and staff with respect and will not damage their vehicles or engage in any illegal, threatening, harassing or abusive behaviour or activity during the ride. HIBA and the Service Supplier reserve the right to refuse to provide the Shuttle Service to any passenger that may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs and/or whose behaviour may be considered a threat to the driver, the vehicle, other passengers, or you. HIBA will not issue a refund in the event that the service is annulled or interrupted due to these circumstances.
3. Reservations & cancelations

Reservations can be made for the available time slots of the Shuttle Service via the website of HIBA or at the Hotel reception. It is your responsibility to make sure the reservation responds to your needs (book in time, book the right time slot, indicate all necessary information, etc.).
Reservations can be done at any time. Make sure you are at the pick-up spot 10 minutes in advance.
Your reservation is only valid after you have received a reservation confirmation from HIBA.
You are responsible to check the details of the reservation. Amendments to the reservations are not possible. HIBA cannot be held liable for any damage including delays or costs resulting from mistakes in the reservation.
Confirmed reservations can not be cancelled and are non-refundable.
You must indicate in the reservation to how many passengers the reservation relates. Children count as passengers, regardless of their age.
If you have special necessities, such as a wheelchair, you must contact HIBA directly by phone, e-mail or at the reception to inform them of this.
If you made a reservation for a Shuttle Service from Brussels Airport Company to HIBA and your flight is delayed, HIBA will try to offer transport on the next shuttle provided that there is availability.
4. Child transport

Under Belgian law, the obligation for children to travel in a child seat is not applicable for (i) taxi’s (ii) vehicles with more than 8 seats (driver not included) and (iii) busses.
Children that are smaller than 1m35 must be seated in the back of the car. Children are obliged to wear their safety belt.
The Service Supplier retains the discretion to choose the route and will travel by the most suitable route. If access via the conventional route is closed due to weather conditions or other circumstances, and you wish to be driven to your point of destination via a longer route, you shall be liable for any additional costs
6. Payment and fees
Unless notified otherwise, indicated prices include Value Added Taxes (hereafter “VAT”).
HIBA reserves the right to modify the prices at any time. All existing reservations will be charged at the rate indicated at the time of reservation.
You are liable for the full payment of the price for each used Shuttle Service and/or confirmed reservation for the use of the Shuttle Service.
The full payment must be made at the time of reservation.
A surplus can be charged in case of changes to the reservation, such as extra passengers or extra luggage.
HIBA reserves the right to charge the full price if you don’t show up at pick-up time.
HIBA accepts the following payment methods and payment cards:

-Belfius pay button
-Bank transfer payment
A confirmed reservation is not refundable
HIBA will not issue a refund if you don’t show up at pick-up time.
HIBA reserves the right to not issue any refund if, after the reserved vehicle has arrived, it turns out that the reservation was made for the wrong date, time, location and / or other incorrect or misleading information. HIBA will not issue a refund when, due to the untimely notification of mistakes in the reservation confirmation, the reserved service cannot be changed, or the service cannot be provided.
8. Insurance and liability
HIBA is only liable for damages resulting from the provision of the Shuttle Service when the damage is caused intentionally by HIBA or its personnel or results from a gross error committed by HIBA or its personnel. In this case, HIBA can only be held liable for an amount not exceeding the price paid for the Shuttle Service.
HIBA is not liable for intentional damages or damages resulting from a gross error committed by the Service Supplier or his personnel and or drivers. Any claim for compensation of intentional damages or damages resulting from a gross error by the Service supplier, including death or personal injury resulting from the use of the Shuttle Service, must be made to the Service Supplier and shall be subject to the laws and to the jurisdiction of Belgium. We will provide you with the contact details of the Service Supplier upon your request.
You are responsible for your luggage. Neither HIBA or the Service Supplier are responsible for loss or damages to the baggage. We recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover loss or damage of your luggage.
You are responsible for the pets that travel with you and to take all measures to assure that your pet will not cause hinder during the travel. You will indemnify us for any claims or cost as a result of your pet. If HIBA is found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to the price of your booking.
9. Force majeure
HIBA is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control such as, but not limited to, weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns, traffic jams or accidents, police checkpoints, strikes and acts of terrorism. It is possible that the Service Supplier also does not accept liability for delays or cancelations due to circumstances beyond its control
10. Personal data
Type of personal data
These terms and conditions must be interpreted in accordance with Belgian law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts for any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions.
You agree to indemnify us and fully defend us against any claim or legal proceeding brought against us by any other person because of your violation of these terms and conditions.
HIBA reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

These terms were last changed on November 21st, 2022.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will always post an updated copy on our relevant websites. Therefore, please check our site for updates.
